At Deloitte, Rich now serves as the leader of the Hartford Office Audit practice. Rich has been a partner since 2003 and has acquired over 24 years of public accounting experience providing audit, financial, accounting and business advisory services to companies ranging from closely held firms to large complex domestic and multinational corporations, with a focus on the retail and consumer business, technology and manufacturing industries.

Rich has extensive experience in assisting his clients with U.S. GAAP and regulatory matters, including Sarbanes compliance, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and interaction with the SEC. He is the engagement quality control review partner for a number of large private and public companies of the firm, with responsibility for independently confirming audit quality.

In addition to his client service roles, Rich has served as the HR/recruiting partner for the Hartford office for many years and is highly active in campus recruiting including being the UConn Partner Champion. Rich graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Rich is an active member of his community, volunteering his time with various organizations.
