Marcia has been with Marien + Company since 1983. She is the partner in charge of the firm’s accounting and auditing divisions. She specializes in government and nonprofit auditing, accounting and advising.Marcia is also the managing partner of the firm. In this capacity, she is in charge of overseeing the firm’s operations as a profitable business entity, directing the firm’s administrative functions and establishing, updating and monitoring the quality control systems over the firm’s professional services.

Marcia graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She passed the CPA exam in her first sitting in May 1984. She has numerous certificates and education credits in accounting, auditing, and issues effecting governments and nonprofits.
